Welcome to Adega Malápio, where we revive the medieval tradition of winemaking in tanned clay amphorae to produce natural wines, with minimal intervention and authentic to the Bairrada region. Here we offer luxury wine tourism services with unique features, a century-old winery, and a medieval vineyard.

You can schedule visits to the vineyard/winery, eat our famous Leitão Assado da Bairrada (roast suckling pig) next to our century-old amphorae, contemplate the unique views of the Cértima river basin with its rice fields and rich fauna and flora, glimpse Caramulo, Cruz Alta at the top of the Bussaco slopes, and learn how our wines are produced and about our medieval vineyard, which is crossed by a watercourse.
