We ordered the sardinha, choco frito (which was delicious!!) and arroz de pato (also pretty good!). The banana bread was outstanding and we would definitely come back. Reasonable prices, excellent service and great views of the river.

This restaurant is located at a great spot to appreciate the view, especially sunset if visiting around 20:30 pm. The food is good to try but the service minded needs to be improved for certain staff(male with mustache who makes waiting list) . Strongly encourage to evaluate your managing skill to run the restaurant well if you want to make revenue and become Porto’s iconic place to present Portugals’s cuisine by receiving positive review. Very disappointed by the staff’s rudeness and unprofessional attitude when serving guests.

Service varies significantly depending on who you get. Certain servers are more attentive and friendly, while others require more assertiveness in pinning them down in the restaurant to get some service.
Our server recommended that we order 3 dishes. Everything was delicious 😋 Of the 3 we ordered, the Acorda was definitely our highlight (first time eating this and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend!)

This place was recommended by a friend.
Place is awesome with it being next to the river.
Overall, the main dishes was good especially the fresh codfish.
Honestly, we are not sure about the “micro steak sandwich”. It’s not what we expected. Truthfully, we don’t think it’s worth the 3€ per piece.
Staff is friendly.
The only complaint we have is that there was a good amount of wait between the first and second dish. Timing of the dishes could be better.

I visited Muro do Bacalhau and overall had a very good experience.
The location is definitely a highlight — it’s right by the river, and the view makes the whole dining experience really enjoyable and relaxing. The food was also very tasty, especially the seafood, which felt fresh and well-prepared.
The only downside for me was the portion size. The dishes were quite small, so it didn’t feel very filling.
That said, I still really enjoyed the experience and would recommend it, especially if you’re looking for a nice meal with a beautiful view in Porto.
