Fantastically inventive dishes on a small and focus menu, an extensive selection of local / Portuguese wines and very friendly staff (especially our host from Copenhagen who normally works back of house, but showed a very friendly demeanor and made some bang on wine selections!)

Wow! We had an amazing experience here at Estomago. We didn’t have a reservation so were grateful to be seated on a Saturday. The staff here are incredible, so friendly and passionate about what they do. Each plate was creatively curated with surprising flavours and combinations. We loved the chickpea brown butter and also had the BEST fish and leek mash here – perfectly cooked and balanced flavours. This place is a true gem!

We had a wonderful valentine’s day dinner at Estômago and chose the degustation menu. Every dish was unique and full of flavour, making the entire evening feel truly special and memorable.
I’d also like to give special thanks to our server, who took great care of us and elevated the experience with his attentive and thoughtful service. We ordered the four-glass wine pairing, and his recommendations were excellent — each wine matched beautifully with the dishes and was perfectly suited to our preferences.
It was an exceptional dining experience from start to finish, and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a refined and memorable meal, especially for a special occasion!

We did a tasting dinner for two. This was our first time in Porto (and Portugal) and we felt so welcomed by the staff. They walked us through each course, the inspiration behind each dish and provided wine pairings. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for good food, great ambiance and a twist on Portuguese classics.

Wonderful atmosphere and service, but the food was disappointing considering the price.
We had the desgustation menu – I had high expectations for the cod, but sadly it was a miss. The texture was off compared fresh pan fried or baked cod I had – I was told it was sou vide which may be the cause.
The iberico pork with red wine sauce did redeem the cod.
