Can the Can is a seriously unique place, not just in Portugal but in the world!
Their menu is delicious, and take sustainability seriously with their garum project.
I was there with a group of 20+ people and they took great care of us. I fortunate enough to be able to have a garum tasting (also had as a condiment at my table) they were patient and enthusiastic about explaining the process and recommended how to have the garum, and was a very unique experience I’ve never had before.

Simply put: the best tuna steak I’ve ever had. Very fresh and treated with the highest professionalism. I’m so glad we just decided to go there while visiting Lisbon. Staff very pro & friendly. Highly recommended!

The food is quite diverse from Italian to the classic American burger. Loved the flavors in their food. Phillip was really friendly and a great human. Loved the ambience and the atmosphere.

Food is great, and service is execellent. Situated in a very good location with great scenery… Ms Catia is so friendly, cheerful warm and attentive. Thumbs up for the great service. My 1st time trying Garum Lusitano which is very interesting for me, I loved the Tuna 😋😋

I was a solo traveler/diner. I ordered two tapas: a mushroom dish and fried cuttlefish. Both were excellent and delicious. The decaf latte was exceptional. There happened to be a torrential downpour when I finished my food, so I lingered a bit in the restaurant and started reading an interesting book about this restaurant’s chef and some history of canning in Portugal. The staff members were very friendly, making the experience all the more enjoyable.
