Our experience with Black Pavilion was truly unforgettable, and we want to give a very special thank you to Inês Feijão and her whole team for helping create such a meaningful and beautiful moment for me and my fiancée.

I reached out because I wanted help planning a surprise proposal followed by a romantic private dinner, and Inês went above and beyond from the very beginning. She was incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and engaged throughout the whole process, and made sure everything came together exactly as I had hoped. Her communication was excellent, and I felt completely confident and supported every step of the way.

The private dinner they created for us was absolutely amazing. The whole ambiance was so romantic, with candles, decorations, flowers, and music that made the evening feel truly magical. Everything was prepared with such care and attention to detail, and it created the perfect setting for one of the most special moments of our lives. My fiancée loved it, and I am so grateful that they helped me create this memory for us.

We also want to give a special shoutout to our waiter that evening, Tham, who was exceptional. His service, warmth, professionalism, and attention throughout the night made the experience even more special. He truly helped elevate an already unforgettable evening.

A heartfelt thank you to Inês, Tham, and the entire Black Pavilion team for making our proposal celebration so romantic, beautiful, and memorable. It is a moment we will cherish for the rest of our lives, and we cannot recommend Black Pavilion enough.

    Much love from Sweden.

Gorgeous place within the Torel Palace Hotel. Service was excellent and the choice of food and quality excellent. Prices are appropriate and the atmosphere great. Walk around the property a bit before dinner and see the extraordinary views from up high. The dining is quiet and romantic. Perfect place for a date.

I was shown it by my realtor as we were running past it back and forth while looking for a place in Lisbon.
    I loved it since.
    It’s good for multiple occasions:
    – To stop by for coffee or cocktail while running past. (Truth to be told I would go out of my way to stop by too! :). Go all the way up the deck. Perfect for coffee and amazing view.
    – Dinner. Went there alone and with friends. Everyone was happy. Quality, but not cheap for Lisbon.
    – Breakfast: my favourite! Fixed price breakfast with champagne. Good selection of everything. Advice: order eggs the way you like it if scrambles or boiled is not your cup of tea. It’s included.
Ambience and design is very chick upscale. I’m convinced they designed the place after that black and white cat 🙂

An exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is stylish and elegant, crowned by an indescribable view over Lisbon that is especially breathtaking at sunset. The service was flawless throughout: attentive, warm, and professional without ever feeling intrusive.
The food was simply outstanding—creative, perfectly balanced, and of the highest quality. A particular highlight was the sommelier: a true expert who, with great passion, recommended the absolutely perfect wine to complement the menu.
A top-level dining experience that will stay in your memory for a long time. Highly recommended.

We booked Black Pavilion about a month in advance for our group of 12, and they were able to accommodate us with no problem. I had read a lot of reviews raving about the views but saying the food was average—well, the views were absolutely as advertised (stunning!), but the food completely exceeded expectations.

This ended up being one of the best meals we had during our entire trip to Portugal. Everything we ordered was delicious and well-executed. I highly recommend the tournedos (filet), duck, burrata, and especially the crème brûlée.

My only gripe was the pricing—it was a little all over the place. $20 for a burrata salad vs. $23 for a beautifully cooked filet? Kind of odd. But in the end, it was 100% worth it for a special night out.

Amazing views, great service, and genuinely delicious food. Would definitely go back.
