Description
A few months in, we spiced up the menu with more breakfast options and a monthly-rotating lunch lineup, all made with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients whenever we can. We expanded our bakery to accommodate a wholesale service – these days, we’re supplying bread to dozens of restaurants across northern Portugal, mostly around Porto. Along the way, we’ve run some pizza pop-ups, both in Póvoa de Varzim and Porto. In July 2024, we decided to get Bicho a bit further by opening a second location in Porto, where you can grab our bread, pastries, and enjoy breakfast or lunch.

Absolutely loved our visit to Bicho Porto! We had two specials, a broccoli risotto and a delicious potato and chickpea stew, plus refreshing lemonades and a great cappuccino with cheesecake to finish. Everything was full of flavor, the portions were generous, and the service was genuinely friendly. The whole place has such a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Highly recommend!

One of my absolute favourite cafes! Only had a day to explore Porto and I’m so glad I came to Bicho!! Having a Loyle Carner playlist upon entry was a sign that I was going to love it here. The coffee was a delight! Also for the quinoa apple porridge which was lovely!! Tried their homemade plum jam as a honey replacement and wow. So so good!! The service was friendly and welcoming. Lots of room inside, the space was super bright! Wish this was my local spot 💛💛

I loved the interior design of this cafe around 12-1 it has a great sunlight! I loved how friendly and quiet it is. They happen to have cardamom buns which was a nice surprise! I’d love to try their breads if I ever come again. Defff recommended!

This is my favorite brunch in town! Bicho has a wide variety of options, from elaborated toasts to pastries that makes you want more! They also provide vegan options that are AMAZING! If you want good food, with a friendly staff and atmosphere… there you go! 😄
