Really loved Alto! Great service, good wines and a menu that’s very creative. You can really tell they use quality ingredients and the plating is just beautiful! My personal favourites were the sea bass (with beurre blanc, yummm) and the beets & burrata. Oh, and don’t skip the Japanese chocolates with olive oil and salt, so so amazing.

Such a lovely dining experience! The atmosphere was warm and cosy, with beautiful interior details that made the evening feel really special. The food was absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour.
The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Definitely a place I would highly recommend visiting 🥰

This is a higher level of Portuguese restaurant that aims to elevate simple, traditional recipes into something special. Blew us away!
Thanks for amazing server Goncalo, we ordered starter of Sourdough Bread along with their Octopus special.
This one featured small, tender and bite-sized piece of octopus along with bits of chopped baked potatoes in a Romanesco sauce that had sliced black olives, chopped/baked mixed pepper slices along with a bit of pesto.
Just terrifically, well balanced explosion of flavors! And a perfect Portuguese meal coupled with a smooth, red wine from the underrated Dao wine region.
Loved this spot and the meal. Obrigado Goncalo!

Today we visited your restaurant, guys, and we were left with nothing but positive impressions. I already had the pleasure of meeting your chef — a wonderful lady — and personally expressed my admiration to her.
We were also truly impressed by your interior design and your creative reinterpretation of dish presentation. Everything felt fresh, modern, and absolutely delicious.
Keep it up and open more locations — the world needs it!
We experienced a true gastronomic organism

My partner and I had dinner here to celebrate my birthday. We had a reservation for 19:10 and were the only people in the restaurant at first, but the service and music meant the atmosphere was still great. The team accommodated for my dairy allergy amazingly. We had the antipasti to share; and tuna tartare to start which came with watermelon, ponzu sauce and avocado crema which was delicious. I had the mushroom and quinoa parcel for my main, which was unexpectedly a cabbage parcel but was absolutely delicious. My partner got the pork which he loved, and he also got the chocolate basque cheesecake which was also apparently great. The team very kindly put a candle for my birthday. We shared a bottle of alvarinho, and I got the basil smash cocktail – both of which were fresh, light, and delicious. Overall, the restaurant was gorgeous, and the food and drinks were great. Would highly recommend dropping in if you are visiting Porto.
