Alexandre Castro Designer

He graduated in Product Design in 2006 from the ESTG of the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo. In 2006, he began a curricular internship in a private industrial design office where he worked as a product designer with the aim of developing alternative projects for the client PROCALÇADO S.A. In the same year, he also did a professional internship as a graphic and product designer at the company José Borda & Ca Lda. After finishing his internship in 2007, he was invited to stay on with the aim of starting a process of integration, modernization and internal development of the creative area with projects in different areas, in a constructive process that lasted 10 years.

During this time, he also learned a lot and undertook a variety of projects: design and patent of the process for the production of doors (2007-2009); training in Trends and Marketing Integration (2009); training in Fashion Culture and Design (2009 by the former CITEX); exhibition of projects in “Digital Art” by the Professional School of Foreign Trade - Porto (2010); creation of DINC, online commerce and promotion of art on t-shirts (2012); finalist in the Passport to Entrepreneurship promoted by IAPMEI with the project Customizable Doors (2014); training in Market Prospecting, Marketing Plan and Management and Planning (2014-2015); creation of the brand Sisamu®, a collection of customizable doors for homes and commercial spaces; Certificate of Pedagogical Skills (2018).
